hello

My name is Robin Akira McCormack and I'm in my last year at CSUN.
Although I have been fairly artistic since I  can remember, I started school with a business degree in mind.  That idea quickly came to an end when I realized business was not for me and that I could be creative and use my artistic ability to make money.   So far every class I take only heightens my love for graphic design and I hope by the end of this year I will have strong enough concepts and be skillful enough to get a good job as a designer.

This probably sounds lame but good design inspires me.  I love work that makes you think.  One of my favorite contemporary designers is Stephan Sagmeister. His concepts and the process in which they are executed are awesome.
Here are some examples of his work. Enjoy.

I havent met anyone, yet, who doesn't like Sagmeister. He is really a living legend of design. The best part about his work is that, alot of times, it straddles the line between high art and design. If you haven't seen, Things I Have Learned in My Life So Far, check it out, it's been on my 'to buy' wishlist for the past few months.
