LMU has a really nice campus and student gallery. there was a lot of good, inspirational work there and it was good to see fellow students work there. Congrats to Kim for winning the scholarship, she had a nice piece.

thats it. what about the work. what stood out. what were you impressed with? how did csun compare to the other schools? be more critical!!!!
a couple pieces i thought were really interesting
the two big patterns on the right side wall. the first one on the left side was a floral pattern. that one really stuck out because not many peices were large like that.
the converse shoe box that was cut n burned. ( i was wondering if that was laser cut or what)
there was text made from thread and looked like hair. it was good to see some of the work was made and not digital. thats something i never seen at our school.
some of the work i thought wasn't impressive at all but maybe 70% of it was really good. its important to see what our competition is and i think everyone who went has an idea of what level of design we need to be producing
our school is def up to par but some of the work at the show from other schools looked professional.
